The game

Some things should
stay lost.

I created this project in about a week using Unreal Blueprints. Art assets were found on OpenGameArt.org, while the player model was created by me.

Your character has lived in the appalachian mountains their entire life. Growing up you have always heard locals whisper the same warning: never wander into the wilderness at night! They tell stories of vanishings near an old, decaying cabin deep in the hills- stories you’ve always tried to ignore.

Finally, you've mustered up the courage to venture into the dark wilderness in an attempt to save those who have become lost, however; it appears something lurks in the darkness, behind the snapping of twigs, eagerly awaiting for its next victim.

Can you free the lost souls before your sanity shatters? Or will you become the creature’s next victim?

Under the hood

THE CRAFT BEHIND THE GAME.

• Designed from start to finish a small horror game using Unreal Blueprints.
• Implemented all game mechanics from scratch, avoiding the use of any Unreal Starter Packs.
• Designed simple first-person character model to implement with movement.

YOUR NEXT WORLD
IS WAITING.
